Technology & Social Saturation
In my previous article, The Social Purchase Journey, I mentioned the average number of social media accounts held by internet users in the U.S. is now 6.8. Let me explain the why of this phenomenon.
In today's tech-era, end-users are demanding specialized content, which is provoking the rise of new content-specific social apps. Consequently, people are now taking advantage of these new behavior-specific social apps to get connected with like-minded individuals or to find insightful information about a service or product (social commerce).
There’s so much content competing
If your business continually publishes on social media, you might have noticed the tariffs for ad spend have increased, while your reach or digital presence isn't at the level of your investment. This is a consequence of social saturation. Everybody is competing with information.
But, there's hope. Social saturation is now adopting a new shape, and it's called multi-networking.
The rise of these new behavior-specific apps like TikTok, Caffeine, Lasso, HouseParty, Steemit, etc. are making people jump from one content-saturated app to other new behavior-specific apps. By positioning your content on the right platforms, you can help your business be relevant, cost-effective, and profitable.
Only 2 out of 10 companies readjust their content marketing strategy at least once per year.
With that said, is your content being published on the right platforms? Is LinkedIn the only B2B platform for your business? When was the last time you readjusted your content marketing strategy?
At GOOD DESIGN™, we can help you tell your story and position it on the right platforms. We are a content creation agency that produces and distributes excellent B2C and B2B content.
